Thought new ideas in photography were a thing of the past. No way. On 19 October the Lytro system was announced.
Bringing focus into focus, Lytro has taken focusing and depth-of-field to the next level and it is surely amazing as much as it is astounding. The future of the digital age is as elusive to us today just as the idea of photography was as elusive to everyone in the early 1800′s. Maybe not for everyone, the Lytro system is real.
Steve Lohr, The New York Times recently commented, “For a photographer, whether amateur or professional, the Lytro technology means that the headaches of focusing a shot go away.”
